Water purification: turbidity

Water containing clayey-type suspended particles may show high a level of turbidity, especially in certain areas of Italy with a certain geological morphology.
In other cases the problem may arise if the water supply is taken directly from a river, when it has been subjected to heavy rainfall of an alluvial nature.
